The inaugural Jali Film Weekender will take place in Edinburgh from 30 October – 2 November 2025.
The Jali Weekender celebrates the richness and diversity of Black, African and diaspora cinema. The 2025 programme will bring an intentionally curated snippet of contemporary African cinema to Edinburgh, highlighting the breadth of stories and styles across the continent and beyond.
