Following the UK premiere of My Semba (Meu Semba), join us at Lochrin Rooftop Bar for our festival party, inspired by one of Geração 80's cinematic characters, Angola's capital city: Luanda.
Expect to be transported to Luanda's cityscapes – journeying from its iconic seafront bay views through the melodic rhythms of Semba and Kizomba; to its buzzing shanty towns – the musseques, where the electrifying beats of kuduro and Afro-fusion were forged, before exploding into the contemporary world music scene.
